The Animal Rescue League of Iowa was searching for an effective way to boost year-end donations from their digital donors. The organization just completed a successful #GivingTuesday campaign and needed another way to motivate their donors to give again.
RKD Group suggested that the Animal Rescue League launch their biggest match campaign ever; a quadruple match challenge supported by one of their major donors. The campaign strategy set a deadline of midnight, creating a sense of urgency for their audience.
This was RKD’s first quadruple match for ARL and it resulted in a success. This campaign brought in nearly as much revenue and more donations than #GivingTuesday. Match campaigns are an excellent strategy for boosting revenue. Donors feel like their contribution goes further and deadlines create a sense of urgency, which motivates donors to give.
The Animal Rescue League of Iowa serves people and pets from across the state of Iowa through its programs, which include pet adoption, humane education, pet behavior training, spay/neuter, animal cruelty intervention and much more.
