This was the first year that RKD provided strategy and support for City Rescue Mission’s Q4 efforts. Because this would be our first major campaign for City Rescue Mission, we wanted to make a big impact.
RKD provided a special Q4 budget and portfolio for City Rescue Mission. We supplied them with special donation forms, a Giving Tuesday-focused homepage banner to drive donations, lightboxes that allowed for a lower barrier to donate, and social media posts that drove to the donation forms.
The results were incredible. City Rescue Mission was able to bring in 90% more revenue on Giving Tuesday than the last three years combined. Due to the unique multichannel strategy, CRM also saw a 22.4% increase in online year-end giving from 2018. This was a major win as we kicked off our partnership with City Rescue Mission during one of the busiest fundraising times of the year.
For 60 years, City Rescue Mission has been a beacon of hope to thousands in Oklahoma City and beyond. Instead of indefinite shelter, City Rescue Mission offers a clean, safe, temporary place to stay and successful programs and services to help people transform their lives for the better.
